Good Afternoon G.W. Skene Families, We are inviting students to come into the school on Thursday March 19th 2020 between 9:00AM – 1:00PM, to collect their belongings. Please see schedule below for times. If you are unable to attend at the assigned time, please contact the office to arrange an alternative. Belongings will be held at the school until further notice. Teachers will be working around the school during this time but will not be available for conversation. We ask that students and parents maintain and respect social distancing by not engaging with staff. If you have any questions, please email [email protected] We would ask that students only come to the school if they have essential, personal items to pick up. School supplies such as books, pencils and scissors will remain at the school. To avoid multiple trips to the school, if you have more than one child at this school, please come at one time altogether. If you have other children attending James Short Memorial, we have done our best to coordinate with their administration to prevent you from taking too many trips from home to school. Please ensure that only the student is entering the school unless they need adult support. We will ask that students enter through the main doors and go straight to the gym where their items will be waiting for them. We would ask that you encourage your child to look at the items from the lost and found that we will have laid out for them. Parents please wait outside for your child if they do not need support (this will support social distancing and avoid larger group gatherings). 9:00am –9:30am – SKILL, Mr. Lyons 9:30am – 10:30am – Mrs. Tonkin and Mrs. Brierley 10:30am – 11:00am –Ms. Chung and Mrs. Sanghera 11:00am – 11:30pm– Mr. McDermid and Mrs. Thoms/Murphy 11:30pm – 12:00pm – Mrs. Nevlos and Mr. Trinh Please return any items belonging to the school, e.g. library books, home reading books etc. and place them into the labelled bin inside the main entrance doors.
